  Robert I le Frison Count of Flanders Ruled Flandern 1071-1093 Richard was poisoned by the men of his brother, who did not get the name The Devil' for nothing. The men of Richard in turn murdered Robert while on a pilgrimage to St. James de Compostella in Spain, not going to the Holy Land.
